Prayer of Thanksgiving:             Merciful God, you do not grow wiry waiting over us. Like a shepherd keeping wait over their flock by night. You do not lead us to feed in lands that are barren but guide us to a life richly filled with love, meaning, and hope. You look for us when we have gone off on our own ways and keep us safe from danger. For this good that you do for us lord let us give you what thanks with all our hearts we can. May our thanks be pleasing to you and honor you for you have been good to us. This we pray in your Christ holy name. Prayer of Illumination:             Lord God of All, you know the fields of plenty and abundance. Were life is rich and good for us. We follow your word like sheep coming to the call of their shepherd for you know the ways, you have planned our trails, and prepared for the dangers that may await us. Guide us good shepherded by the light of your word. Help us learn and be feed in new nurturing ways your word can be spoken a new in our lives like a vibrant stream. Inspire us and move us to life our lives fruitfully. In this we pray in your holy and precious name. Amen. Because I was thinking about Easter Dinner, I prayed:             Thank you, Lord, for the lamb and the sheep.  Not only for there to be such cute animals but also make good food to eat on a day to remember what you have done.  Blessings be to your only begotten son.  Amen. 

Prayer of Adoration:             O’ Dearest Lord God, how comforting it is to know that you are a good shepherded. For when we are prone to wonder like sheep in a vast field you come and collect us. When we go missing you are there to find us. When we hear your voice, we respond with hearts of joy and longing. For you are like a safe home for us. You lead us to fields that are good and water nourishing. Even when the path there is filled with danger you keep us safe. How wonderful are you to consider us worth looking after. Prayer of Confession:              Lord of Host, we are your guest to witness your great promise. Yet we fail to behave as guest should. We knowingly and unknowingly judge our fellow guests who are also invited. We doubt if such people are worthy of your extraordinary grace. There is time when we act as if we are the host of your gathering. We may clam the work you invite us to would lead to ruin without us. How easily we can, in such times, forget that you are in charge. Sometimes we are picky about what you provide to us as a loving host. We often ask for more or for something else than what you offer, and we do not give thanks. God forgive us when we are poor guest as we try to learn from our mistakes. Prayer of Thanksgiving:             God who welcomes us home, you care for us with hands wide open every day. You ensure that we have what we need. When we lack anything you send your people to help ensure that your love and care is always being provided. Even as simple as needing an ear to listen and a heart to understand the stress and marvel of our lives journey. We give you our thanks in hopes that we can show you how much we love you. Prayer of Illumination: God of all creation, we ask for your guidance. We feel lost in the sea of opportunities and challenges in our lives. At times, we feel unsure what path you are calling us to take. We ask for your love and nurturing word to help guide us and to remember were ever we go our lord you are there beside us. Like the time when your people were wondering in the wilderness be with us and guide us to the opportunity to see the promised Kingdom of God. This we pray in your name. Amen.    Because I dreamed of hopeful ideas, I prayed: Lord the life you offer is truly full of wonder. I am free to hope, travel, learn and explore. Yet most of what I think and dream what the world may be like it is often not. I wonder what dreams are worth dreaming. Yet you find ways to make life more interesting than any dream I could dream and for that I give you thanks. Amen.

Prayer of Adoration: Lord God, you are the way the truth and the life. Wherever our lives take us Lord you are already there ready to welcome us. When we need to leave the comfort of home and familiarity You are the first to assures that we will be alright as we look behind. As we move to and frow in our daily lives, Lord, there you are beside us. That we are never truly alone and without comfort of good company. Continue to be with us as we stand together as family and when we are called in our different walks of life to see your Kingdom come. This we pray in your Christ’s holy name. Prayer of Thanksgiving: God of Abundant love, you have given that what we need each day. You love us when we feel that life could care less of the love we give. Your love is more than enough but calls us to live a life full of the same giving spirit you are. Though we do not see your work or ways we feel your love. May little love we are unable to give back to you be blessed by you and fruitful for the life of love you desire for our world. This we pray in your Holy name.    Because I am reminded that times change, I prayed:  God the days will be growing shorter. The nights will be growing longer. Yet you still rule both the day and the night with majesty. So too do you rule over my days. So too do you rule over my own life’s changes. I want to say that I am thankful for this comfort. Prayer of Confession: Loving Lord God, we want to say that love is easy for us. Yet we would be lying to you. We easily admit those we can love. Those who are often like us and agree with us. But we would sooner turn our backs than loving those who are different from us. Those we call our enemies, Lord God, are also your children. When we fail in our call to truly love ourselves and our neighbors, Lord, we find it hard to forgive. God of Justice, we ask that you help teach us and remind us of what your love truly is. We ask that you remind us what true love looks like, a true forgiveness in your mercies reign. Help us we pray in your holy loving name. Prayer of Adoration:             God of grace, your love is eternal. It reaches beyond any distance. Whether it be north to south or east to west. Your love runs deeper and higher than the depth of our seas to the highest reaches of space. Such things cannot measure or contain your love for creation. And your love tells us so much more about the mystery that you are. For how God can love the world so much and the world cannot feel it’s depths. For all the love that you provide of us each day we give our thanks and prays. Amen. 

Prayer of Illumination: O’ Lord the darkness cannot hide the light of your truth nor the depth of your love. You call us out of the darkness we may find ourselves in the light of your truth that we might know and come to rejoice. That the light that you shine may be reflected in our lives, we pray for your illuminating word to be spoken anew to us again. That we might see more for what we missed and to remember the reasons you encourage us to shine today with your light. This we pray in your name. Even those that barrow light like the moon is enabled to shine and make a difference in the seasons you created that all of creation might grow and be transformed. Prayer of Confession: God of Grace, you provide us light in the darkness. Yet we have days when our world feels like it does not show it. We see darkness but like your light Lord God we do not often understand it. We can see sin in our neighbors, yet we may not see the sin in our own lives. We hear about war, violence, those who steal, and those use others for their own gain. Yet we can think along the lines of pity, shame, at least it was not me or anyone close to me. Like the Pharisee’s prayer being thankful they are not a tax collector. What we don’t see is how our inference or acceptance to tragedy is just as much tragic. Yet in this world Lord God we wonder what we can we truly say or do to show justice and love. We see darkness and we fear that we will continue to perpetuate darkness in the place of honor where your light should be. Lord, we fear ourselves at times. We fear that we only carry the same darkness and there is no light strong enough to give us hope. Hope that we are ...

Prayer of Adoration: God of eternal light, where can darkness hide from you? Where can shadows play without being seen and known by you? Truly nothing can hide from your sight. Not even the shadows in our lives can hide from your witness. Your light finds us like the shepherd who when looking for the one lost lamb. You care for us when the darkness become too much for us to bare. Like a lamp in the night of our souls you let the way home. For that we give you all thanks. Amen. Because I have been up at night, I prayed:  O Lord,  How the shadows so mystery that plays on the mind?  Yet your mystery is far more of a wonder than our illusions cast in the dark.  We give you thanks for being even stronger then the fear we cast on shadows.  Amen.

Prayer of Adoration:             God of Wonder, we can find something new to learn each day. Like children the life you have created is full of marvels never ending. You encourage us to be like the little children who came to you. And like them you promise us hope to someday see the Kingdom of God in our world. Lord, we give thanks for the blessing and welcoming love you give us as we grow alongside your Holy Spirit each day. Prayer of Adoration:             Blessed God, you love springs with such mercy that floods the world. Our lives cannot contain the fullness of your love that we can’t help but share that love with those close to our hearts. Like water overflowing from a glass, your love run so over one life to another. Even the depts of those who feel the most remove can’t help but find themselves filled but your love. May the sight of such blessings of love be pleasing to you O’ Lord God. Amen.    Prayer of Confession:  Loving God how deep does our sins stain our lives and the life of creation. We sin in many ways, in many times regardless of places. We sin in the dark of night and even in the light of day. Prayer of Illumination:              Gracious Parent of our lives, like children we have need to grow, and learn from you. We ask in this time to learn form you how we may be able to live our lives with your love and compassion. We sit at your feet ready to hear the story tried and true. That we may learn what it means to be your children. Bless this time of our learning and growth to be truly your children. Amen.  Because I need to remember all children make mistakes to learn, I prayed: God, I know I feel frustrated that I must clean up a mess I wish was never made. Hope me remember and strengthen me to have compassion for the growth that is life. For you were so loving as a parent to all of us that you intestinally dealt with our sins so that we may learn to live into a life more faithful. Thank you for being a constant reminder of what it means to forgive. Amen.

We may feel good helping those in need but feel such same imagining how we would feel on the other side. We are people of merit and hard work. Yet we refuse to see the true heart of compaction. Fail to see the true blessing in the offering, to live in true love you have called all our children to share out of your abundance and blessings. Help us learn to receive what is good, share with a heart, and love your good always so our souls may not hunger so. Prayer of Adoration:             God who saves and the Lord who feeds, we will not forget the good you have done for humanity. You delivered your people out of Egypt and, in their journey to the promised land, have fed them. You continue to deliver us from our sins and provide for us in the remembrance of your Christ. You have kept your word and promise to us. May we give you our joy, gratitude, and thanks that stand small. With hearts filled with love, we pray, Amen.   Because I was relaxing, I prayed: God, I feel blessed to have a moment like this one.  Where the weight can come off, and my heart can relax.  Thank you for this brief moment. Amen.    God, why do we rush things in life? I wonder, and I pray.  Yet I am just as guilty for wanting to hear news sooner rather than later.  Forgive my part in it, and I pray, considering our rushed world, that your will is done. Amen.

We ask that you help guide us as we come before your word new in this time. That we may taste and see the good you are calling us to learn and live. This we pray in your loved name. Amen.    Prayer of Thanksgiving:             Lord, we give you thanks for the blessing of being fed. Your word feeds us. We are provided for in our spirit with moments and relationships. We are blessed when we have enough food to eat. And when we have more than enough, Lord, we are encouraged to share with others our blessing given first by you. Prayer of Adoration: Amazing God, you are the light of the world and the light of our lives. You share your light in the lives of all creation. When we fear the darkness in our lives is overwhelming, and that hope is like a dream, you remind us that we are not alone. You promise us hope. You show us those who are beside us and those who are willing to support us. Your light illuminates a path forward, drawing us to your eternal self. For this, we give our thanks and praise. Amen. 

Prayer of Confession:               Lord God, we come before you to admit that we have not honestly told our stories or characters. We know how stories are told and how to exaggerate the truth. In our tales, we know how to make our neighbor sound like a villain. Rather than a person and one of your loved creations. We hide parts of our stories that we feel shame over and hope that they will be erased. We make ourselves the hero and often do not acknowledge the true power in our story, which comes from you. Forgive us, our Lord. Remind us who we are and who you are calling us to be. Please help us to accept our shame so that we may be transformed. That we may live a story honest and true that will show those around us your glory. Remind us that you love our neighbors as much as you love us. And when we can be heroes, let us have the heart to acknowledge that you are in the story and the power ever present in our lives to do what is right by your Holy Sp...
