Daily Prayers for August 1st, 2022

Prayer of Adoration:

             Amazing God, you speak, and the mountains level themselves before you. You breathe, and the seas roar with excitement and life. You are silent, and the desert waits with anticipation in stillness. With sand twitching with life hidden, so do we long to move in your presence once more. Sing with the birds, rivers, and streams to show our thanks and joy. Howl with the wolfs and roar with the loins to tell the story of your power and awe. The way this takes and every day is met with rightful thanksgiving to our Lord so worthy of praise. Amen. 

 

 

Prayer of Thanksgiving:

            Great God of all wonder and love, Your gifts of grace shower us that we may not be alone. That we may find forgiveness where there is not and hope in the times we find hopelessness. You grant us abundant life. We, in our hearts, desire to share our abundance with you and to serve you. We pray that you enable these gifts we feel called to offer to be a small token for our neighbors to see a glimpse of your eternal love and grace. In your son’s precious name. Amen.

Prayer of Illumination: Lord God of Compassion, We seek you and the abondance of your wisdom. We find comfort in your message of love the goes beyond time. A message for all generations. We come before you to find your grace in hard time. To learn from lessons old of your people and to find comfort in the peace you offer us now. That we all be enabled to learn and grow closer as a community of faith. This we pray in your dear name.
