Daily Prayers for August 3rd, 2022

Prayer of Adoration:

Great God, author of creation, we are inspired by all the things your hands have made. The words you speak call out to our lives to live in your transformative growth. You enrich our characters to live life deep and rich with meaning and love. Even the simplest creature can encourage wealth and wonder of thought. We are encouraged to seek you in that which you have made. We reflect your works with our expressions of awe and adoration. God, may we continue to be filled by the mystery and familiarity of your love story written in the life of creation. We pray your blessings multiply, and your glory shines like each morning sun. This we pray in your wonderful name. Amen.

            

 

Prayer of Thanksgiving:

             Lord God almighty, we give you thanks for the health we can have. When our health changes over time, Lord God, we thank you for the care and support you have provided in the call in the lives of others. We thank you for the love and forgiveness you offer us and restore us to a healthy relationship with you that we can share with others. We offer our thanks in the many ways we are moved to Lord God. We pray that they may be used to care for those around us, help heal our community and show your love in the life of faith. In this, we pray in your name. Amen.

Prayer of Illumination: Lord God of Compassion, We seek you and the abondance of your wisdom. We find comfort in your message of love the goes beyond time. A message for all generations. We come before you to find your grace in hard time. To learn from lessons old of your people and to find comfort in the peace you offer us now. That we all be enabled to learn and grow closer as a community of faith. This we pray in your dear name. We see the beauty of your flowery spring, the warmth of your summer, the plentiful harvest in the fall, and the rest of winter.
