Daily Prayers for August 13th, 2022

Prayer of Adoration:

            Blessed God, you love springs with such mercy that floods the world. Our lives cannot contain the fullness of your love that we can’t help but share that love with those close to our hearts. Like water overflowing from a glass, your love run so over one life to another. Even the depts of those who feel the most remove can’t help but find themselves filled but your love. May the sight of such blessings of love be pleasing to you O’ Lord God. Amen. 

 

Prayer of Confession: 

Loving God how deep does our sins stain our lives and the life of creation. We sin in many ways, in many times regardless of places. We sin in the dark of night and even in the light of day. We sin in ways we know and do our best to excuse ourselves or justify why it is not our fault. We sin in ways we don’t know or have ever considered. No matter the times we try to wash away our sins by ourselves with out you they remain. Only you Lord God have the power to forgive us and provide us a fresh start. Not that we may sin again, like nonmoving water. But that we may be moved to a life flowing with growth, healing, and your love once more. Amen.


Because I have had a busy week, I prayed:

             Lord God, I don’t know how I still have energy to pray. 

            You know such mysteries as this. 

             I ask that I may be able to look back on these days and feel that good work has been  

            done. In your name I give thanks. Amen

Prayer of Illumination: Lord God of Compassion, We seek you and the abondance of your wisdom. We find comfort in your message of love the goes beyond time. A message for all generations. We come before you to find your grace in hard time. To learn from lessons old of your people and to find comfort in the peace you offer us now. That we all be enabled to learn and grow closer as a community of faith. This we pray in your dear name. Amen.   Prayer of Thanksgiving: Lord God of Assurance, We are thankful for your grace during every season. We see the beauty of your flowery spring, the warmth of your summer, the plentiful harvest in the fall, and the rest of winter. So to do we give you thanks for the comfort you offer each one of us in every season of our lives. From the gift of new life and new opportunities, to the lose we feel. Prayer of Thanksgiving:             God who welcomes us home, you care for us with hands wide open every day. You ensure that we have what we need. When we lack anything you send your people to help ensure that your love and care is always being provided.
