Daily Prayers for September 25th, 2022

Prayer of Confession:

Father God, you have called us to grow as individuals of faith. You nurse us with community. You offer us love eternal and forgiveness in abundance. You ensure that the ground under our feet can support us. For you tell your followers to not be stumbling block to the little children from coming to you, so to do you remove the stumbling blocks in our lives. When you encourage us to raise our heads to face your truth like a blooming flower shy to face the light of the sun. We to refuse and keep to the sight we would rather see. Lord you are the good gardener, who had done everything you can for your body the vine. Yet we are prone to produce wild grapes unfit for your work. Unfit to show the world the fruit of your love. For that we ask for your forgiveness God. We know that we need to look at ourselves at such times and turn to you for remembrance of what will create in our lives fruitful grapes worth barring. That we might raise our heads like the truly bloomed flowers able to show the beauty of your creation you created us to be. Amen.

Prayer of Illumination:

Lord of creation, as the buds of your garden start to show their beauty of a life of maturity, trust, and faith. So too, do we come to your care that we may grow with the grace you have for each of our lives. Help us to be guided by your words anew in our lives. That we may so the wonder of your love to the world. This we pray in your holy name. Amen.

Prayer of Illumination: Lord God of Compassion, We seek you and the abondance of your wisdom. We find comfort in your message of love the goes beyond time. A message for all generations. We come before you to find your grace in hard time. To learn from lessons old of your people and to find comfort in the peace you offer us now. That we all be enabled to learn and grow closer as a community of faith. This we pray in your dear name. Amen.   Prayer of Thanksgiving: Lord God of Assurance, We are thankful for your grace during every season. We see the beauty of your flowery spring, the warmth of your summer, the plentiful harvest in the fall, and the rest of winter. So to do we give you thanks for the comfort you offer each one of us in every season of our lives. From the gift of new life and new opportunities, to the lose we feel. We give you thanks for the good you do and the mercy you give to us out of love. May we continue to share that love with one another. Amen.

Prayer of Thanksgiving:             God who welcomes us home, you care for us with hands wide open every day. You ensure that we have what we need. When we lack anything you send your people to help ensure that your love and care is always being provided.
